Complimentary minor repairs
Meaning that if your car needs light bulbs, wiper blades or headlight alignment to achieve an MOT pass certificate, we’ll take care of that for you completely free of charge.
Complimentary fluid check and top-up
It makes sense to have a quick check of the under bonnet fluid levels while the vehicle is in the workshop, and we’ll top up engine oil, brake fluid and screen wash for you free of charge, if necessary.
Tutts are rated as a green testing station by the DVSA
It’s not made public knowledge (even though it’s pretty important) but the DVSA have a traffic light system for rating their testing stations. We are rated green, meaning they have no cause for concern about the quality of our testing.
Tutts are MOT QC checked annually by The Retail Motor Industry Federation
Meaning that’s additional peace of mind for you. We chose to have the quality control check carried out and pay for it ourselves, to make sure we’re always up-to-date and compliant.
While-you-wait appointments are available throughout the day
Meaning you can be in and out within an hour with the least amount of time taken out of your day.
Comfortable waiting and viewing areas
Meaning you can either relax on our comfy leather sofas and read a magazine or paper with a coffee while your car is being tested, or you can sit in the MOT viewing area and watch while our MOT technician carries out his checks.
Convenient town centre location
Meaning we’re close to all 3 train stations if you need to dash off and catch a train, or you can take a stroll in to town while your test is being carried out.
Our technicians are not on a bonus scheme
Meaning that our techs are paid the same whether your vehicle passes or fails, there’s no ulterior motives or financial rewards.
Complimentary email or postal reminders
Meaning that you won’t forget your next MOT due date (we’ve all done it, or almost done it!).
Video footage of defects, if any are found
If you’d like us to we can send you a video of defects if your vehicle fails its MOT… or we can show you in person if you’d prefer.
Free MOT re-tests
Meaning that if your vehicle fails its MOT you have 10 working days to have it repaired and we won’t charge you to do a re-test. Whether we’ve carried out the repairs or not.
